In songpop, you are vetted against players to guess name of songs or singer/band of 5 songs of specific music genre. You can choose to play 5 classic rock songs to guess or 5 rap songs as well as other genres.

In Songpop, you can choose from several genres to fight on. These ranging from classical music to modern rap as well as show tunes and other familiar tunes.
Fast-paced gaming
In order to win on songpop, you will need to be faster than your opponent on guessing the song. This makes this game a battle of wits as well as speed.
Flaws
Most genres are locked and needs to be payed with in-game money
Genres like dance or techno are locked and needed to be payed for you to unlock them. This means that at the start, songpop will only give you a small number of songs to play with and will repeat songs which means you will hear some songs over and over again.
Only 3 random genres to challenge from
Even if you have unlocked all the genres, you are only given 3 random genres to challenge people with and will require you to spend real money to change a genre of your choosing. This makes unlocking genres a little bit useless.

Even with some problems on genre selections, this game is still one of the most addictive and enjoyable games I have every played in facebook. If you are a music fan of several genres, then this game is for you.
